The lingering looks of love exchanged between William and Kate

While it is one year since the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have tied the knot and a good ten years that they have known each other, it does not seem to have dimmed their love for each other one bit.
Kate and Will have eyes only for each other

In fact the royal couple looks to be more in love with each other than ever before, even as the entire world is completely enthralled by the couple and fallen under their spell.

Jo Hemmings, psychologist and body language expert interpreting Prince William and Kate’s body language opines that he has never seen a couple so much in love.

“They are both totally happy in the relationship and it shines out through their every move and every look.”

“She is delighted to be married to him, and he is besotted with her. It never wavers. If they’re not looking into each other’s eyes, they are watching each other,” adds Hemmings.

According to the psychologist what actually shines through in this private connect that William and Kate share between themselves is a “palpable core of intimacy.”

Amazing chemistry shared
between Will and Kate

Further Hemmings states that even when the William and Kate are in a heavy public domain, when they look into each other’s eyes they seem to just cut off the rest of the world. “I am sure that must be a huge comfort for her (Kate) particularly,” he adds.

Duchess Catherine definitely does not really need much reassurance, as she has been warmly accepted by the royal family as also by the Brits. So much so, that her year as a duchess has been hailed as a triumph.

Another one to fall for Duchess’ charm, Hemmings eulogizes that it looks like as if she has been born to this role. And even her Prince William looks relaxed and so much happier. “They really are a perfect match,” Hemmings gushes.

However, this amazing chemistry between William and Kate does not seem to have gone unnoticed even by the ordinary folks in Britain. As one reader Wendy Green comments: "Their frequent eye contact is the one great thing I've noticed about them! They look so together in every way. Good on 'em!"

Kate Middleton’s first year as British Royal praised as 'Brilliant'

Britain’s Queen Elizabeth’s cousin has lauded Duchess Kate's first year as a royal as being flawless.

The former Kate Middleton has thrown herself admirably into a spate of public engagements since she wed Prince William, the Queen's grandson on April 29 2011.

The 30-year old brunette has succeeded in impressing even a seasoned old timer like Lady Elizabeth Anson with her charm, grace and sense of fun.

Queen Elizabeth's cousin Lady Anston
Eulogizing Prince Charles’ daughter-in-law, Lady Elizabeth told Radio Times magazine: 'At the moment it is absolutely brilliant.’

According to her, Kate Middleton must not change a thing as she is ‘refreshing, she is ‘beautiful’ who has never worn any dress that didn’t suit her.

Moreover, even if there is pressure on her to look good and behave ‘yet she still laughs and looks happy and likes to chat,' adds Lady Elizabeth.  But this positive opinion was not there right from the beginning.

Lady Elizabeth disclosed that before the royal wedding she was nervous about the former Kate Middleton, especially considering the fact that the marriage of Prince William's parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, had ended in divorce.

According to Lady Elizabeth, everyone then wanted a ‘fairy tale. “But we were rather like nervous children in that we'd had our fairy tale with William's parents which didn't work out. I'm not so certain we thought we deserved another fairy tale so soon.”

It was against such a backdrop the Queen’s cousin said in wonder 'It's been an absolute miracle. I think either she is blessed with a very natural gift or somebody very cleverly, quietly and calmly has been teaching her the knack of it.'

Duchess Kate makes it to 2012 - World’s Most Beautiful Women’s list

People magazine has named Britain’s Duchess Catherine as one of the most beautiful women in the world for the year 2012.  Well, this is something most Britons who love the royalty are already saying about the latest entrant to the British monarchy.

The 30-year-old Duchess of Cambridge who will be celebrating her first wedding anniversary with husband Prince William on 29th April, 2012 has been placed tenth in the publication’s annual ranking.

The People’s magazine giving its reasoning for choosing the former Kate Middleton in their most beautiful list explains that Duchess Catherine during her April 2011 royal wedding to British heir Prince William looked every bit like a fairy-tale princess.

Also according to the magazine, the Duchess, ‘has continued to impress the public with her down-to-earth sensibilities (she does her own makeup and recycles clothes) and also dazzle celebrities (Reese Witherspoon is a fan) with her warmth.'

Meanwhile, a Buckingham Palace source even added to the statement stating that: 'She is genuine, both in private and in public.'

The top spot was bagged by singer/actress Beyonce Knowles. Other celebrities rounding off the top ten were Sofia Vergara, Charlize Theron, Lily Collins, Madeleine Stowe, Christina Hendricks, Michelle Williams, Paula Patton and Miranda Lambert.

However, the placing of the Duchess in the tenth spot has not gone down well with certain sections of the British media. One website has gone so far as to state that Kate Middleton has been insulted by People Magazine’s apparently random selection of the World’s Most Beautiful Women for 2012.

Prince William and Kate to attend friends’ party on wedding anniversary eve

The cat is out of the bag with regard to Prince William and Kate’s plans for their first wedding anniversary, barely two days away. According to grapevine, the royal couple will be attending a friend’s party the night prior to the most memorable day in their life.

It was disclosed yesterday (April 26, 2012) that Prince William and Kate will spend the night before their one year wedding anniversary partying with close friends. And the following day will head back home to the privacy of their Anglesey farmhouse for a quiet intimate evening, together.

When inquired by UK Press Association on how Prince William and Kate plan to celebrate their one-year anniversary of their wedding on Sunday, a St James’s Palace spokesman inadvertently let slip: “They will spend the weekend with friends who have a celebration.”

This little tit-bit has now added to the speculation about the royal anniversary in the media. Naturally this clue is more than sufficient for the UK media hounds to sniff out which friends are special enough to be granted the august presence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the eve of their  first wedding anniversary.

While no additional details have been published, Press Association, however, also mentions with some degree of authority that the day after the party, Prince William and Kate “will travel back to their home in North Wales on Sunday to celebrate their anniversary privately.”

This latest information effectively puts pay to the earlier speculation that Prince William and Kate were planning on retreating to Balmoral and celebrating their wedding anniversary in the privacy of the Queen’s stunning Scottish estate.

William & Kate’s Wedding Anniversary Commemorative Dolls Unveiled

With the much awaited first wedding anniversary of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just around the corner, there is good news in the offing for doll collectors and British royal family admirers alike.

Mattel Inc, the world renowned US manufacturers of Barbie dolls, have unveiled a special two-doll set to mark the first year anniversary of Prince William and Kate’s wedding that took place last year on 29th April at Westminster Abbey.

The exquisite figures form part of a limited collection by Mattel and have already been sold out in America. The two dolls are wearing costumes based on the royal couple’s wedding outfit.

Similar to the Irish Guards outfit sported by Prince William and Kate’s Sarah Burton designed gown. The dolls are encased inside a box set and retails at around £100. According to Mattel the dolls are more of a collector’s memorabilia rather than a toy.

Meanwhile in Britain, a commemorative Barbie version of the royal couple has already hit the shelves of the Hamleys toy store in London. The head buyer at Hamleys, Laura Olver believes the upcoming event will generate a lot of interest for the commemorative dolls.

Olver disclosed "Straight after the engagement another manufacturer brought out a Catherine doll in the blue engagement dress which took us by surprise. We sold about 30 times more than we originally forecast we would sell of that doll."

Such has been the interest in Kate’s eye-catching engagement outfit that it was aped and spawned around. In-fact a number of high street shops that the Duchess of Cambridge visited have found to their delight, sales booming.

In fact, there is no sign of Catherine’s popularity abating opines retail analyst, Isabel Cavell, going on to add "She (Kate) looks good in what she wears and shoppers want to buy in to that."

Prince Harry to receive Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership Award

Prince Charles must be a very proud man as his son Prince Harry is to be feted for his outstanding humanitarian endeavors at a glittering ceremony in Washington DC, America, scheduled for May 07.

27-year-old Prince Harry is to receive this year's Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership Award, to be conferred on him by the Atlantic Council in USA

The Atlantic Council will host its Annual Awards Dinner on May 7, 2012,
where Prince Harry will be feted for his achievements.
The younger British royal will be accepting the award on behalf of himself and his elder brother 30-year-old Duke of Cambridge, for their joint charitable initiatives through The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.

A St James's Palace spokesman informed that Prince Harry was surprised but honored to have been made the recipient of such an exalted award. Just last year Prince Harry had joined wounded servicemen, participating in their charity trek to the North Pole.

The younger royal will be using the opportunity at the award ceremony to pay tribute to UK and US veterans' charities for their various initiatives in rehabilitating sick and wounded servicemen and women, added the palace spokesman.

Prince Harry with this distinguished honor now follows in the footprints of some illustrious celebrities including U2 singer Bono. In 2010, Bono was conferred the Atlantic Council's first humanitarian award for his tireless efforts in combating disease and poverty in Africa.

Prince Harry will have to make it to the ceremony next month without his elder brother Prince William's presence, as the future heir to the British throne and his wife Duchess Catherine will be attending and later presenting prizes at the Badminton Horse Trials.

This is a crucial event for the British Royals as Prince William's cousin Zara Phillips will be attempting to secure a berth for herself in the forthcoming London Olympics.

So now the hand-some future heir to the British throne, has a new admirer. The Essex babe Amy Childs acknowledges she has a soft spot for 29-year-old Duke of Cambridge.

As royal watchers may be aware, Prince William will be celebrating his first wedding anniversary with Kate Middleton aka Duchess Kate later this month.

However, that does not seem to deter one ardent fan, 21-year-old Amy Child who publicly declares 'I fancy William more than Prince Harry!'

She goes on to query 'Can you imagine Essex and royalty? If I went for a member of the Royal family it would definitely be him!’ reiterating her open admiration for the elder royal.

However, although she has the hots for Prince William, Amy still empathizes with the 27-year old Prince Harry, who says it's hard to find love.

According to the gorgeous Amy, when a person is in the public eye, they don’t ‘intimidate’ people, but people are just afraid to approach them.

Now that is really a sad state of affairs for the junior royal… Wonder what Prince Harry will have to say about this. Being the prankster he is, probably he will wise crack on Amy, ganging up with fav sis-in-law Kate.

The Duchess of Cambridge visited a local store with mother Carole Middleton (57) in tow. However, having completed her shopping while leaving the store, she left behind a very important fashion accessory.

Later speaking about the incident, the shop owner told You Magazine 'Kate is quite ditsy.' According to him, Kate Middleton was browsing some stuff in the store for sometime with her mom, as she usually does.

However this time when she left, “I noticed she'd left her handbag behind just sitting on a piece of furniture,” disclosed the shop owner. Obviously, by now the expensive item has been returned to its royal owner.

30-year old Kate Middleton’s upper middle class upbringing tends to surface time and again, particularly in her zeal for high street bargains.

Although she does not really need to go scouting for it since now she is a member of the British Royal family after her marriage to 29-year old Prince William in April, last year.  Some how she cannot seem to give up her love for some good high street bargains.

In fact Duchess of Cambridge has even been seen sneaking in to purchase stuff at H&M and Gap on London's Kensington High Street. Duchess Kate is also said to be a big admirer of LK Bennett, Whistles and Reiss.
