Catherine is understood to have
pampered her husband of one year on his 30th birthday by preparing an unusual
slap-up meal for him on Wednesday June 21st morning.
Duchess Catherine got her pinafore
and served her husband Prince William a very special breakfast in bed yesterday
morning to celebrate his three decades on this planet. Indeed, a very
thoughtful gesture, which only a loving wife would have come up with.

Being an official Royal now after
her marriage, Duchess Kate could have had just about any number of valets, servants
or cooks at her beck and call to rustle up a meal for the two or lay out a
culinary feast for her Prince on his big day.
But Duchess Kate did nothing of
the sort; instead she decided giving a personal touch was best to show her love
for her husband. Getting up early, she quickly got down to the kitchen to whip
up a delicious treat for her husband of just over one year, reports The
Sun.
Insiders know Kate
Middleton is quite a deft hand in the kitchen. Apparently, she had
made William a special plate of fish en papillote that is fish cooked
in parchment to celebrate their first wedding anniversary in April.
As anyone with knowledge of
astrology knows Cancerians are basically home-birds who love to be pampered
with home cooked food. Kate by now must know her Cancerian husband well enough
to understand that he would love food cooked by her.
Besides as they say a way to a
man’s heart is via his stomach, so keeping this adage in mind apparently
Duchess Kate has been continuously working on honing her culinary skills. Her
desire being to ensure her man is well looked after with plenty of healthy
home-cooked food.
In addition to the special
morning treat, according to The Sun, Duchess Kate also handed hubby William an
attractive present. It was a custom-made watch from Crown Jewellers Collins
& Sons. This exquisite timepiece will undoubtedly be among William’s
favorite possessions this birthday.
Being the future King; he is
bound to get many other gifts, but nothing which he will cherish as the one
given by his wife. Also according to reports even common friends of the couple
as also family members will be showering the Duke of Cambridge with birthday
presents this week.
Apparently Duchess Catherine has
been planning a special dinner party to mark Prince William’s birthday using
her mom Carole and Pippa’s party-planning skills as also Prince Harry’s help.
One source said: “She wants to make a roast dinner for 25 of his closest friends
… After dinner, she wants to kick off the party with a murder mystery game, which
she knows he'll enjoy.”
Also guests have been asked to
bring along a prop and make a short speech about Wills to "provoke
memories" of his student days. One of Duchess Kate’s friend told The
Sun: "She's spent weeks planning this. William can't believe he is 30 so
Kate wants all his old friends there. It's very sad Wills' mum hasn't seen him
hit 30 and Kate will pay tribute to Diana in a speech."
Meanwhile, St James's Palace
spokesmen have refused to divulge any details about the plans for William's
upcoming birthday bash or about what gifts he received. However, one persistent
rumor about a present is one that includes a beautiful painting of Catherine by
artist Nicky Phillips.
Duchess Kate on her 30th birthday
in January had received many expensive gifts from close pals, family and her
new celebrity friends, including a sleek pair of £1,627 grey suede Christian
Louboutin boots and a matching belt from Victoria Beckham. The latter
with husband David in tow had attended Kate and Wills’ wedding last year.
