Kate Middleton goes on camping excursion with Lupo and Boy Scouts


The Duchess of Cambridge with a band of young scouts; as well as her pet cocker spaniel Lupo in tow, went on a camping expedition last Wednesday. The destination was close to Anglesey cottage, North Wales, the home she shares with hubby Prince William.

The camping excursion was part of 30-year-old Kate Middleton’s volunteer work with the Scout Association, one of the organizations she has chosen to support as the Duchess of Cambridge.

The Duchess has for some time now been quietly working with the Scouts Association. As part of this endeavor she would be organizing games and activities with the Boy Scouts group.

Kate also holds honorary positions with the Action on Addiction, the National Portrait Gallery, the East Anglia's Children's Hospices, and The Art Room.

On this occasion, a far cry from her glamorous public persona, the Duchess had gone casual wearing a brown vest over jeans and rain boots. 

With a cheerful countenance, the Duchess was seen striding through the woods with the Scotland Porthaethwy Menai Bridge branch on the camping trip. 

Few of the scouts were seen discussing with the Duchess, while some of the lucky scouts got to walk Lupo and hold his leash. However, when the puppy was alone with Kate Middleton, he was allowed to run free without any leash, his ears flopping in the wind. 

The doting mistress was seen taking a break by sitting on a tree stump and spending some time cuddling and hugging Lupo, basically having some fun. She and Prince William had adopted the cocker spaniel earlier this year.

At the camping trip, Lupo looked happy lapping up all the attention and love showered on him by the Duchess. Kate had even carried along-with her a packet of Pringles!

Meanwhile a local scouting source told People magazine: "She's clearly getting a lot out of it … Everybody's taken to her well." Touch-wood!!!

    I love these pictures of the Duchess with the boy scouts! It shows she is as beautiful inside as she is outside. It shows her maternal and caring side. I love that she is doing it quietly, that shows that she isn't clammoring for attention like some other royals do. I especially love the picture of the Duchess holding Lupo in her lap on the log, that shows her maternal side and I can just imagine her holding her royal babies like that. I think she is more beautiful dressed like this and doing these kinds of things. Prince William is so lucky to have found his true love for his Duchess and future Queen, I love them!!! Eva M.     First of all I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question
    in which I'd like to ask if you don't mind.
    I was curious to find out how you center yourself
    and clear your head prior to writing. I have had a difficult
    time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I truly do
    enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15
    minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how to begin.
    Any ideas or hints? Appreciate it!

      Well, to be honest I too go through those moments of indecisiveness. But then it soon clears once I just make up my mind to write and then the words just flows. So don't get rattled just be determined to do the job. Thanks for the words of appreciation for my blog.

    I'm really into photography and would quite like a career involving it however i do NOT want to consider pictures of individuals (weddings and stuff), i like taking arty/creative pictures. I additionally love writing and I are already considering writing for the teenage magazine and hopefully getting photography in there as well. Has anybody got any ideas on which job I really could achieve that involves my sort of photography and writing and just how I can get there. At the moment I'm 16.
